The island Vis is on daily basis connected with Split:

• "Jadrolinija", depending on the season, operates twice or three times a day between Split and Vis on its ferries. Once a day, the island is connected with Split by its hydrofoil. For the information about the timetable, kindly visit Jadrolinija's web-site www.jadrolinija.hr

• There are also direct ferry lines Ancona - Vis and Vis - Ancona.For the information on timetable, please visit the web sites www.jadrolinija.hr and www.splittours.hr. When you disembark from the ferry in Vis, turn left and take the main road taking you out of the town. On the first big turning, turn left following the signs for the Milna cove. Following this recently constructed road, it will take you about fifteen minutes (9 kilometers) to reach Milna. At the last descent from which you will have a beautiful view of the sea and of a small archipelago in front of Milna, there is a small turning to the left taking you to Zenka. Take this small road and you will find our apartment at about 200m, on your left side.  

Due to the badly developed network of public transport, it is reccommened to have a private mean of transportation for an easier «exploration» of the island.

For those who come to Vis without their own means of transport, there is a possibility of renting a car, a scooter or a bycicle.
